Honest to God it just doesn’t matter. They could give you 10 times your money and you’ll still go broke playing roulette.

I don’t intend to sound mean. Truly I don’t. The absolute truth is that you are a fool if you ever think that you’ll make money playing roulette.

I hope you’ll believe me when I say that. Really – I don’t want you to lose your money. If someone sold you a “system” only 2 people will have made money – the person that sold you the system, and the casino.

Try to beat roulette at your peril.

Don’t play. Its entirely random and there is no winning strategy. Learn to play craps or poker or at least blackjack as there are winning strategies available for those games. (In my opinion, Craps is the best bet in the house) Roulette is a fool’s game. If you like roulette, I have another game you might enjoy. Its called, “Give me your money”.

If you’re playing roulette and put a large amount in like 1000. Then you bet one on red every time. Every time you lose you just bet double to get back where you were. You keep doubling until you get your red. the chances of black coming up like 9 times in a row are very slim. You keep doing this while adding up slowly. Is this a good strategy?

This is not a good strategy. This is known as a “martingale” system. No matter how you structure your bets, you’re getting bad odds. For instance, the chances of getting black nine times in a row are still high enough that the risk is greater than the reward.

As I’ve pointed out elsewhere, you’re “laying odds.” That means you’re offering to pay the house a large amount of money in the case that a long shot comes in, and you’re getting a small amount of money when the longshot doesn’t come in. In this case, the amount of money you get is *too small* to compensate for the times when you have to pay off a long series of expensive bets.

Ultimately, each and every time you bet, your expectation is to lose 5.26% of the money you put on the table in an American Roulette game, or 2.7% of the money in a single zero game. That’s true in martingales, that’s true of ANY betting system. The main difference between playing a series of small bets and a martingale system is, in the former you bleed to death slowly, and in the latter you get destroyed very suddenly on one catostrophic loss.

Also, the odds of getting 9 black/green spins in a row is not nearly as unlikely as you think. You’re very likely to see this happen even on your first visit to a casino.

i tried it in different casinos in the internet. i think the bonus option is mostly a joke, cause they do not accept every game that you can play to get the bonus. mostly i think you have to play stupid slot-games without a chance to win. am i right or are there any internetcasinos which allow to play 50/50 games like roulette or blackjack to get bonus paid out. thanks for your help

Does anyone think that this year’s McDonalds Monopoly bonus guarentee prizes are crap? We don’t even have a local Toy’s R Us (prize coupons can only be redemed to in one visit) and who shops for shoes at expensive Foot Locker (coupons can only be redemed for 20% off).

Are these prizes or coupons? ( just like anyone can get online or in the newspaper). Any suggestions for next year?
