roulette strategy

Question by conddi: Any good roulette strategy ?
Is it possible to tell if the wheel is statistically bias ? Wouldn’t that be a good roulette strategy ?

Roulette is completely random and long term, winning is almost impossible. Casinos change their wheels regularly so that you cannot detect bias easily. You would also have to log many hours of play at a particular wheel to detect a bias and I suspect that you would not be welcome as a long term spectator if you did not at least bet some of the time.
There are two casino games where the house has only a small edge and these are blackjack and craps. Blackjack is widely available in the UK but requires “perfect” play to minimise the house edge. Craps is not generally available in the UK but serious profits can be made by playing strategically.
Finally, if you could beat games like these would casinos still be in business ? Think about it !
