require you to do so with some sort of minimum bet? I find the ones that allow you to spin without wagering much better than the others because I spin until I see a certain sequence coming up and I also you my own system which works a treat on these tables!! Surly the casino must be aware that they are leaving themselves open? Or are they?

It depends on what software the casino is powered by. Playtech software run casinos allow spinning without wagering. But remember there are always ways around free spinning on casinos of different software like RTG. And remember too, only a very small percentage of online roulette players play strategies and systems using roulette patterns. The slots players generate over 80% of casinos profit.

Question by Tony A: Is there really anyone consistently profiting in roulette?
I know in theory that casino advantage can not be beaten. However, certain strategies I have tried seem to produce, at least temporarily, very impressive results. Of course, temporarily is the key here.
Since I can not trust the sales hype nor the testimonials in a sales letter, I am really asking if a real person is at least using some strategy that makes him consistent profits.
For how long does it really produce positive results before you lose it all?

Single number payout for roulette is 35-1.

What do I think of a progressive strategy like you described? I think it’s no better and no worse than EVERY strategy that has ever been thought of for roulette before. It WILL lose over time – period.

Let’s start by just betting 1 dollar each spin. Your first hope is that you’ll win before 35 spins go by. If you win on spin #35, you’ll make 1 dollar total in profit. Any sooner means more money.

If it gets to spin #36 without winning yet, you move up to 2 dollars each spin. Now if you win by spin #53 you will have won a total of profit.

Spin #53 comes and goes and you still don’t win yet. You’re down .

Move up to per spin on spin #54.

If you win on spin #71 you will have made a total profit of 1 dollar. If you still haven’t hit your number you’re down 3.

Move up to per spin on spin #72.

If you win on spin #88 you will have made a total profit of 9 dollars. If not, now you’re down 9.

Move up to per spin on spin #89.

If you win on spin #106 you’ve made 9 dollars profit. If not, you’re down 7.

Let’s stop there. 2 things I’d like to point out by now.

#1 – no casino, (except perhaps an on-line casino), is going to allow you to only bet on a single number. You’d almost certainly need to bet at least to start. If you start with and you go 106 spins without hitting your number, you’re down ,835!!! (In an on-line casino, maybe they’d let you do this, but follow this up a little bit further and you still would get way up there in money very quickly.)

#2 – How hard do you really think it is to MISS your number 106 times in a row? It must be very hard, right? Not really! The chance you will go 106 spins in a row without hitting a predetermined number is around 1 out of 17 or around 6%.

That’s NOT that far fetched to happen!!! Consider the fact that you sometimes might only win if you hit your number at certain points of time in your system! You’re risking 7 with a 6% chance of losing it all when you might only get a small amount of profit when it wins.

Long story short, no matter how you slice it, there is NO WAY to beat roulette. Not with any system of betting. Never has been. Never will be.

Try to beat roulette at your peril.

It would be very simple to write a roulette program that didn’t pay out very often. I wouldn’t trust an online game like that.

I know about Cherry Red Online Casino and Bodog Casino, but Cherry Red does not have free flash roulette practice anymore and Bodog has a few bugs in their free flash craps practice setup. I don’t want to actually download any online casino software I just want to practice separately using the free flash system until I’m ready.
Hahaha pdq, I’m afraid I’ve been out of school for ten years and I have several degrees. Now, all I do is search for good real estate deals since the market is flat on it’s butt. I and other savvy investors know it won’t always be that way so I buy, fix and rent ‘em out until the market starts roaring back again. However, I do have many people tell me constantly I’m making a big mistake and I always make a bundle, then they say it was all luck. This happened many times in the past ten years and I always find a another way to make money. The reason I tell you all this is because if I get an idea in my head I don’t listen to anyone even well intentioned folks like you. You see I’m just plain stubborn and I don’t give up easily. Now, with all that said I have been coming to LV from CA for several years and I do have a simple strategy for winning at craps but roulette has got me stymied and that’s why I need a free flash player to practice my many roulette ideas good or bad.

There are lots of places that will let you play for free.

I don’t think you should call what you are doing “practice”. That implies that you actually could get better at these games! In case you haven’t figured this out yet, you CAN’T. These games favor the house and there is NO WAY to beat these games in the long run. People have try EVERY ‘system’ to play these games over the past couple hundred years, and NOBODY has figured out a way to beat them in the long run. Anyone that tells you they can beat roulette is trying to SELL you their system. The only people that will win is the person that sold you the system, and the casinos.

Stay in school if you still can, and work hard. Try to beat roulette (or other casino games) at your peril.

Thanks for the personal response to my answer. I stand by what I say. If you really are going to continue to pursue this, be sure to spend some time researching “Bankroll Management”. You WILL find out someday that there is no way to beat these games in the long run. At least if you have a Bankroll Management system in place, you shouldn’t lose all your money at once.
