The bank hand is favored in Baccarat. The advantage is diminished by the 5% vig you pay on a winning bet.

Card counting and playing a 1 deck game. If you know what you’re doing, you can win 107% of your bets (meaning you’ll gain 7%) over a period of time. You can’t expect that gain on each hand, but over a longer length of playing.

How is card counting possible given that casino’s shuffle the cards in blackjack? I don’t know what card counting is exactly, but I don’t see how it could work

also, what are the odds of the player coming out a winner given that it pays 3:2?

A lot of casinos don’t suffle the cards after each hand, they shuffle 6 or 8 decks at once then go through them all. That’s what you are counting.

That second question means nothing. Coming out a winner at what? 3:2 might mean 40%, but if you are talking about something in a casino, they don’t pay out the true odds on the games.

I’m getting to know some casino table games and was wondering which ones are best to avoid and which ones are better to try. So far, I’ve tried Baccarat, Three-card poker, and Blackjack with decent success. I’m also told basic Craps bets and Pai Gow Poker are good as well. And Let It Ride seems like a bad bet. Any thoughts?

Avoid the ones you don’t enjoy playing.
I don’t enjoy roulette, so I don’t play it. I’m sure I play some things that have a higher house edge than roulette, but gambling is supposed to be fun.

Question by AHHH: Blackjack strategy question?
Strategy says I should double down on A, 6 vs a dealer’s 2. But what if I had A, 3 and i hit and i get A, 3, 3? Is A, 3, 3 the same as A, 6? I can’t double down anymore with A, 3, 3 so is hitting the correct strategy?

A6 counts as a 7 or 17
same goes for A33
and you are right, you cant double down on A33
I think hitting on A33 would be a mistake because it will most likely bring your value down,,, because A33 is 17 if you hit and get a 10 you are still at 17 but if you hit and get 7-8-9 than it would be 14 -15 -16,, so I would stay.,, the strategy to me is not to get the highest card closest to 21 but to bust the dealer..

you know what,,,Vegas Matt is right… you should take on a soft 17 seeing that you cant bust,,
