Best way to not lose money at Roulette: DON’T PLAY.
Roulette has just about the worst odds of any table game. You have the best odds at Craps, playing a table with the highest multiple odds bets possible (and playing those odds). You can also have an advantage over the house at Blackjack if you are able to count cards…though you pretty much need a table where they still shufle manually (which are slim pickins these days), and you need to be thoroughly versed in card counting, which can still get you broken thumbs if you are not careful. Even without counting, you still can do very well at 21.
Still, both options are better than Roulette. Whoa…awful game.
i can’t tell you how not to lose money but i can tell you how not to be upset when you do.. i always bet on the same #s that way i am not upset when my number comes up and i didn’t bet. try to find a table where the chips are each worth .50 instead of $1 or higher. This way you will have more chips to play with. Yes you will make less money each spin but you’ll be in the game longer.
