Marlak was played by Matthew Willig, who has also been seen in recent episodes of "My Name is Earl" and "CSI".
I couldn't find anything on a character called the Captain. There is a "First Guard" played by Gene Stupnitsky, who also co-wrote the screenplay with Harold Ramis.
