Question by Jj R: Has anyone ever used the Gishlane system? does it work? The Roulette system.?
I’m just wondering if this system works for the online gambling, percisely the roulette table, I went to this website ( www.crazymoneydoc.com/system/php) and it looks pretty legit but could someone give me some feed back on if they think it works or not, also if you know of any casinos that are good at playing that game and winning big?

In a word….no.

This system has been tried for centuries and it never works. In fact casinos love when people try it because it makes them more money.

It’s easy to see why it won’t work (if you can’t figure it out I would suggest a wikipedia or google search) but let’s just think about this logically.

If there was truly a 100% guaranteed way to make money through gambling, wouldn’t this information be everywhere? Wouldn’t every book, person and website on the subject tell you about it? Wouldn’t the casinos lose millions of dollars with people using this system? If you know about the system, isn’t it likely that the casino knows about the system? Isn’t is probable then that they would change the rules so that this isn’t allowed?

There is no way to beat the casinos. They didn’t build those hotels by giving away money. A little common sense goes a long way.

The August numbers came out for the Las Vegas strip, and the baccarat numbers were huge! Over $ 1 billion was gambled during the course of the month, resulting in over $ 100 million in revenue for strip casinos. What is shocking is that the money gambled on baccarat very slightly exceeded the money gambled on the rest of the pit + sports + racing.

This gambling over $ 1 billion in a month on baccarat is only rarely equaled (like last year’s Chinese New Year’s). Baccarat earnings have pushed slightly ahead of blackjack for the previous 12 months. Considering that there are roughly 6 to 7 blackjack tables for every baccarat tables, they presumably have lower costs associated with them. It is virtually the only pit game that is improving in this economy.

There seems to be only five baccarat tables in Nevada that are not on the strip: 1 in Green Valley, Alliante, Harvey’s in Lake Tahoe, and 2 in Red Rock casino.

The phenomena you’re describing is also occurring in Australia. The casino which I work at has increased its tables from roughly 20-30 total in 1995 to roughly 50 today – with more planned for introduction to the gaming floor over the next 18 months.
Our casino and other casinos are competing for the same slice of cheese by offering international (and in some cases, local/domestic) customers a rebate on turn-over in order to make their casino more appealing to the punters.
The game typically has very large table maximums called differentials which can be lucrative to some players, and the game can have a team-work feel to it when everybody is betting on the same betting area. A pumping Baccarat table breeds excitement which is advertising you cannot buy.
Although it is an Italian game, Baccarat is the Asian’s game. Macau has entire casino floors devoted to the game and on a busy night, not a table will be dead. In the end, I think its part fad, and will fade out a little like poker is, and craps has.

Question by Jenna: Is anyone aware of any casino card dealing schools in IL and/or IN?
I’m looking to get certified as a casino card dealer, however the NW Indiana/Chicago metropolis area do not seem to have these schools or training programs. I am aware that a few casinos in the area offer to teach only poker, or at best poker and blackjack. I am looking for certification in at least poker, blackjack, and craps. I also wish to be certified in razz, omaha hi-low, and baccarat.

never known anyone to make consistent profit without counting cards

besides that you cant play for long periods of time – you got to hope you do get lucky and catch a winning streak of good cards – make some money and quit before the pendulum swings in the dealers direction

theres a few sites i have found that have a mathematical system which pretty much guarantees u win. it involves starting with a 1eur/1 dollar bet and doubling your bet every time on the same colour until u win then starting again on the opposite colour. u only ever bet red or black…never a number. i have tried it on demos and it does work…just want to know if anyone has used this method and most importantly did it work?

Lots of people have tried it. It doesn’t work.

It’s called the Martingale system and it is flawed because of two assumptions that are never true:
* It assumes you have an unlimited bankroll
* It assumes that there are no table limits

If EITHER of these assumptions is false, then the system will fail. In most cases, BOTH of these assumptions are false, so the system fails miserably.

You realize if there was a method to winning, that the casinos would go out of business, right?

The game has odds weighted toward the house, you aren’t changing them, especially on-line where you really can’t count the cards.
