I don’t really want to have the chart in front of me at the casino, so I’m wondering if anyone has any hints about how to easily memorize the blackjack basic strategy chart? The hard hands are pretty easy to learn, but grasping the concepts behind the soft hands and the pairs isn’t coming as easily.

many have those i carried mine in my pocket..i was told when i was playing as long as its not on the table..you can look at it from time to time…always stand when the dealer shows 2-6 up chances are they are going to bust ..that is if you have 12 or more if you have 11 or less alway take a hit

I think the question given by you is good. But the fact is one cannot able to predict the strength of winning these kind of games. Because the game is purely based on luck and no other talent is required. What one can able to do is keep the game in good touch or else it is better advised to stop the game.

Put 1$ on red, if it comes black, put 2$ on red, if it comes black, put 4$ on red, if it comes black, put 8$ on red etc. Eventually it always comes red. When you hit red, start from 1$ again.

It’s a bad system called Martingale. If you play by that system you are going to lose all your money in the end.

Question by Mr. Grey: Does anybody have an easy way to remember basic blackjack strategy?
I have been trying to memorize basic blackjack strategy for 2 months and when I deal out the cards at home I get around 75% right. I have copied the information in a notebook and studied and made short fragments of words like:

I have :

11 – double down on 2-10
hit on A

and am still having trouble recalling the information at the table and when at home practicing.
Any ideas please?

Suggesion:

Don’t try to memorize the entire chart – especially the parts about doubling down or splitting. Just get a feel for the stragegies involved with the primary card combination groupings. If you play soundly, you can do well at blackjack.
