Question by psychosoma1: What title should I give myself?
I don’t consider myself to be a Gambler!
A Gambler is a high risk taker, he puts his money out there “hoping” to win!
A Strategist is a minimal risk taker who puts his money out there “knowing” he’s going to win!
I recently quit my job because I discovered a way to make $ 50 per hour playing Baccarat in casinos locally.
I had been doing it for 6 months as a part time way to supplement my income and now I do it full time meaning I play 4 hours per day and make $ 200 a day.
When people ask me what it is I do for a living I don’t want to flat out tell them because I don’t want to hear skepticism!
I want to be respected in all aspects of life.
So what would you call my new profession?
I’ve been going by “Statistical Probability Analyst” what do you think??

Apply basic strategy to a 25 cent coin operated machine, just make sure it allows doubling and splitting, your expected loss wont come ANYWHERE near the value of free mixed drinks you will be getting all night long.

About odds on the table games, vegas has probibly ten thousand blackjack tables, many casinos offer different rules that yeild different odds evn on table in the same casino, it is impossible to keep tabs, but you can evaluate them by looking at how they are dealt.

Avoid tables where…….
-Dealer hits a soft 17 (says so on the felt, by it NOT saying he satnds on 17, and instead says hits to soft 17, and stands soft 18′s)
-Blackjack pays 6:5 or 7:5, or even money (says so on the felt)
-Doubling after splitting is not permitted
-BEWARE SINGLE DECK game where blackjack pays 6:5

Look for table where…..
-Dealer stands soft 17
-blackjack pays 3:2
-fewer decks, but not less than 3, or basic strategy will be different, however the odds will be better as long as other rules are nto added to make the ods worse.
-double after splittign allowed.
-split more than once, or more than twice

I have to write a narrative essay for class so I decided to write about playing blackjack. My essay is very simple and is not descriptive, I am just looking on any ideas to make it more descriptive! Thank you!

Shuffling my chips, I sat there contemplating about how much I wanted to bet. I turned to my friend Luke and asked “What do you think we should do?”
“Well the cards have been favoring us tonight, so maybe we should bet a little higher.”
It was our first time to gamble, and we were playing the minimum bets at the table which were five dollars a hand. We both started out playing with twenty dollars each, and we both had almost tripled our money.
“The table is definitely going your way tonight! You should both join the players club, because tonight there is a promotion going on that if you get a diamond black jack (two cards which equal 21, that are both the diamond suit) you get your winning based off your bet, a $ 25 bonus, and everyone playing at the table also gets $ 10.” said the dealer.
“Sounds like a great idea to me.” said Luke.
“Yeah lets do it!” I said.
The dealer then had another employee of the casino sign us up for the players club while we continued to play. Our chips values were constantly bouncing between sixty and eighty dollars, so we were doing great for out first time.
Unfortunately my streak did not last long and minutes later I had lost it all. I was only down twenty dollars so far, so I decided I would buy another twenty dollars worth of chips, and three hands later, I was down to only five dollars. The table was starting to turn on us; Luke had dropped down to only fifteen dollars.
“Here are your player cards!” said the dealer.
“Well I don’t know if they will do any good since this is probably my last hand before I run out of chips.” I said
When resumed play, I had won a hand! I was at ten dollars, and I was just trying really hard to win my money back so I could end up even. Then, two hands later the player cards came in handy, I had gotten a diamond blackjack!
I had bet five dollars, and the payout on a the black jack table we were on was three to two, so I had won seven dollars and fifty cents from my bet. I also won twenty-five dollars, so I had won thirty-two dollars and fifty cents on that hand! I was laughing so hard, I could not believe I had gotten the diamond black jack! Luke was celebrating with me, because he had won seventeen dollars and fifty cents thanks to the ten dollars he won since I had gotten the diamond blackjack.
After this hand we stepped away from the table, because we had both won our money back that we started playing with, and knew that if we had stayed we probably would have lost it all.

if i were to go to a casino, and hold my bet at the same amount for as long as i am playing, and i follow basic strategy exactly, will i end up gaining money over time or losing it?

The house always has the advantage. Unless you can count cards.

If you learn to count cards and play in short spurts so that they aren’t suspicious of you, you can definitely improve your odds. I have a friend who is brilliant at counting cards, but he would not play for long periods. He would win a little money, and move on to play somewhere else. But he would always end up ahead whenever he played.
Of course I don’t like to play card games with him. He always wins. I can’t count cards at all so it’s always been fascinating to me to watch other people do it.

I think the question given by you is good. But the fact is one cannot able to predict the strength of winning these kind of games. Because the game is purely based on luck and no other talent is required. What one can able to do is keep the game in good touch or else it is better advised to stop the game.

are there any casinos that give a no deposit bonus for roulette in the U.S.?
Oh and by the way I have downloaded hundreds of online casinos and only a small % gives a no deposit bonus for roulette and if you read the fine print roulette is excluded from no deposit bonuses, most are only for slots and scratch cards so if anyone has come across a “no deposit” bonus that u can use for roulette please let me know… I hope that is enough detail for those who need it….

Almost all casinos give no bonus for roulette. Hope that helps you with your completely vague question.
