Question by kissmeimirish: has anyone out there heard of a way to win on online roulette?
theres a few sites i have found that have a mathematical system which pretty much guarantees u win. it involves starting with a 1eur/1 dollar bet and doubling your bet every time on the same colour until u win then starting again on the opposite colour. u only ever bet red or black…never a number. i have tried it on demos and it does work…just want to know if anyone has used this method and most importantly did it work?

Lots of people have tried it. It doesn’t work.

It’s called the Martingale system and it is flawed because of two assumptions that are never true:
* It assumes you have an unlimited bankroll
* It assumes that there are no table limits

If EITHER of these assumptions is false, then the system will fail. In most cases, BOTH of these assumptions are false, so the system fails miserably.

all online roulette systems are scams in that its impossible to play them for long periods of time and be a consistent winner

Roulette is a terrible game to try to supplement your income and even more impossible to do full time

all roulette systems are hit and run systems – get your money and leave – the problem is the variance is high because the sample is small, Ive never heard of a roulette system that you can play for 5 hours and grind out profts, its not possible!

plus the ceiling is relatively low – if your goal is to make a 100 to 500 a month I suppose its possible, but to expect to make thousands a week playing roulette whether you are well funded or not is streching the limits of professional gambling!
