Question by nickgalant: For the past week I’ve been winning at roulette using my flip flop method. What do you wheel pros think of it?
It goes like this, I bet red three times in a row win or lose with a $ 10, $ 20 and a $ 40 bets in a row, then I flip and bet black and do the same betting sequence. For some reason I’ve been winning a bundle on an online practice roulette setup. as they say in Vegas .. we enjoy systems in a real situation you will lose
the wheel has no memory and black can come 7/8 times in a row just like red can
your better off just playing red or black and not switching

do you think you can make money online playing roulette with just betting black? if you start at a dollar and if you lose just double your bet and ad a dollar. that way you will win before you hit the max bet because black has to come up. im just not sure if you can push the spin button or have to wait for it to spin its self. because if you have to wait then it would be a long time before you make any real money. do you think they would kick you off the site for doing that? or maybe you should rotate sites or even lose a little at another game so to not look like your ripping them off . i dont even know if it would work but i would like to try.
i have tried it and it does work only if you start at a dollar. if you start at any more you will hit your max bet. what might be even better if you could find a site that will let you bet less then a dollar just to be safe.

In a word….no.

This system has been tried for centuries and it never works. In fact casinos love when people try it because it makes them more money.

It’s easy to see why it won’t work (if you can’t figure it out I would suggest a wikipedia or google search) but let’s just think about this logically.

If there was truly a 100% guaranteed way to make money through gambling, wouldn’t this information be everywhere? Wouldn’t every book, person and website on the subject tell you about it? Wouldn’t the casinos lose millions of dollars with people using this system? If you know about the system, isn’t it likely that the casino knows about the system? Isn’t is probable then that they would change the rules so that this isn’t allowed?

There is no way to beat the casinos. They didn’t build those hotels by giving away money. A little common sense goes a long way.

O.K what are the odds of 12 reds coming out back to back i.e no blacks or green zeros. I understand its 1:1 or 50/50 for every single bet, but 12 in a row? I have believe a way of working out a coin toss is square it or something? does anyone know a simplef ormulae to work it out? This happened on a online site with a “live” automatic wheel, it claims to be live, super casino.com

First, you’re wrong that the odds of a single red bet are 1:1. There’s that zero, so the actual odds are 18 red out of 37 total numbers, or 0.486:1

You’ve got the rest of the math right, though. If you’re looking at a binary choice (heads or tails, red or not red), then the odds of a certain result happening n times in a row is the odds of it happening a single time raised to the power of n.

In roulette, if the odds of red happening on a single spin are 0.486, then the odds of red twice in a row are 0.486^2. The odds of 3 in a row is 0.486^3, and so forth.

12 in a row? 0.486^12 = 0.000173634184. If you want that in odds, it’s 1 in 5759. Not totally unheard of, stranger things have happened.

Hi there,

I have read a lot about this and nearly purchased it on the back of some strong reviews. However i suspected that reviewers like Dave Morris (apparently a long-term online gambler of Squidoo) may in fact be affiliates and get a cut for bigging up Vince’s software.

So can someone tell me if it is the real-deal or is it just skip-fodder like the Martingale casinos mails.

Roulette has been around for 200 years. It seems unlikely that just recently some guy online has cracked the secret code of beating the game, and decided to sell it.

If it worked, the guy could use it as much as possible, and make a lot of money before the casinos figured out what was going on and changed the rules.

But if hundreds or thousands of people buy it, then surely it would speed up the time it took for casinos to figure it out and figure out how to ban it.

Hi all im off to las vegas in june and looking forward to playing roulette all though ive played roulette online before ive never played it live so to speak, im aware theres no system of constantly winning at roulette and am not stupid enough to think this can be done although some people on net will try and tell you its possible,so wat im looking for is book helping laying down the facts regarding the probabilities on numbers etc chosen so does any 1 no of a decent book that states all the probabilities with tips etc??as ive said im not after a fake scam book for £50 i just want a decent book outlining the mathematics into roulette just to give me a heads up whilst im out there, thank u people!
leg fu joh wat i ment regarding book on probabilties is if i had 1 bet on say red another on even and covered the 1st 12 my probabiltiy would be greater i just wanted to no combination bet probabilites im aware its 1/38 if you go 4 1 number 50/50 for evens ect but when doing combination bets it varys thats why i wondered if there was a book covering this thanx to the rest of you for your answers jon fu yung stick to snaop m8!

There have to be a thousand websites that show the odds. The house advatange on bascially all bets are the same.

What exactly do you want to know? There are 38 spots. The odds of hitting any number is 1/38. The odds of hitting black or red is 18/38. Same for odds/even.

You need a book for that?
