Question by Moses: Whats your best roulette strategy?
Betting with the Neighbors bet is one of my best strategies. I spin the wheel until a number comes up that has not come up in 30 spins. Then i bet on that number and a on its Neighbors.

Once it wins i start again on a fresh target. This is just one of many i use. Whats yours.

Phsyco Ra, I forgot to mention i was meaning playing online roulette. I wonder if Einstein would adopt a different perspective if he played online, now with algorithms generating the numbers. I bet he would the bloomin genius.
aidenisl, you asked why not bet in the 0′s of dollars. The reason is i only deposit 0 for a game. Once i have reached 0 i withdraw. Playing stupid amounts leaves you less of a chance of staying in the game and finding that good run. Greed backfires on you.
Legfujo, previous spins ‘do’ have a bearing on future spins. How come is it that systems like the fouroulette system can predict four numbers to come out 70 percent of the time. Because the algorithm is not a true rng. It is widely known to to exhibit recurrsion. Where does this leave all the probability factors of house edge if they are not true random numbers. I’LL TELL YOU, they are predictable to a certain degree.
Look it up on wiki if you don’t believe it.
ZCT, you say casino software is apt enough to spot number bias. The only evidence of them I have noticed of them tinkering is when you win and withdraw. Almost certainly will they re-seed the algorithm effectively starting the rng again with a new starting figure, you see the new data uploading when you log on again. This by no means affects the known prediction methods in anyway. To date anyway.

As much as you may think I’m a liar, I was born in Las Vegas, Nevada. So whenever I my father and I would go into a casino for dinner, I would overhear some people talking at the roulette tables telling a player to put the ball on a certain number, and to bet a certain amount of money. I have thought for years on this, tossed it around back and forth with my family, but they don’t really have a solid answer.

So is there any real strategy to roulette? Because I think it’s 100% luck oriented. Your opinion.

Generally speaking, not losing is a good strategy.

But don’t go all in on chance for high returns because it’s not going to happen. Stick to black and reds until you have a good stock of chips to make more risky bets.

i was thinking about the 35 to 1 odds on roulette….i played one dollar on numbers 1 to 35 (leaving 0,00, and 36 open) to make one dollar…..if 0,00, or 36 came out i put 10 bucks on numbers 1 to 32 (leaving 33,34,35,36,0,00 open) to make 5 bucks (40 – 35 loss from previous spin = 5 won) and if one of those 6 numbers came out i press it one more time to 100 bucks on numbers 1 to 32 (leaving 33,34,35,36,0,00 open again to make 45 bucks 3500 for win 00 minus 35 bucks loss (level 1) + 320 bucks loss (level 2) = 355 you made 400 on spin in level 3 (leaving 3 open + 100 under glass) to make 400 bucks which covers 35 + 320 = 355 which means you made 45 bucks on the 3rd spin
Therefore I play it like this and win consistently
Level 1
1 to 35 (0,00,36) one dollar each spot
total made 1 dollar
Level 2
1 to 32 (33,34,35,36,0,00) 10 dollars each spot
total made 5 dollars
Level 3
1 to 32 (33,34,35,36,0,00) 100 dollars each spot
total made 45 dollars
I stay at level 1 if i win

The house always wins. Double down on red or black is the best way to go. Gotta have cash to make cash.

Ok I know the house always has an advantage in roulette. However I found a system that seems to deify this when run through a simulation of 1,000,000 spins. I just wanted a second opinion before I go to any casino because I must have gotten something wrong.

I found a casino with a 4 player video roulette, one with a virtual dealer and 00 wheel. I was playing and the minimum bet was and the max was 0. My system is based on the margantale system but instead of doubling you triple your bets on a loss. what you bet on is two columns covering 24 out of 38 numbers. that’s a 63.5% chance of winning. now you may be thinking that you can only loose 4 times before your next bet is over table limit but I think if you take one column and a friend takes another column you can have more losses.
what you do is bet on the first column your friend bets on the second column if the number drawn is in the third column then both you and your friend triple the bet. so fro example ,3,5,7,9,81,243 and so on. if however either the first or second column comes in you go back to the original . Now I haven’t gotten that many losses in a row but it could happen in that case you have a third person that bets the limit on both columns and you and your partner then can add the rest. Example you loose 6 times in a row and need to bet 9 the third person bets 0 on both columns. Then the first 2 people bet 9 479+250 =729.

1,3,9,81,243 and so on

How is 3,5,7,9 tripling your bet?

You both bet and lose. You are down total
You both then bet , you win, you are up . Start over.
You lose twice and you are down total dollars, right?

So you each bet on the column? If you win, you’ll make , but your friend lost , and you were already down from before. You haven’t made your profit back. So there’s your first mistake.

And then in general… any system can work in the short term, but I really don’t think you found anything that wins over 1,000,000 spins. You just seemed to claim that 3,5,7,9 was tripling… so you might want to rethink your numbers.

Would this strategy actually work?

you bet 1.
if you lose, you bet 2, if you win, you bet 1 again.

if you bet 2 and lose, you bet 4, then if you lose that, you bet 8, then 16, then 32 ect.

whenever you win, you bet 1 the next round.

so lets say you had 1,000 bucks. you bet 1 and lose, 999

you bet 2 and lose 997

then you bet 4 and lose 993

then you bet 8 and win and then have 1001, then it starts over again.

would this work???

you’re basing that on the fact that at some point you will win. You could just keep picking the wrong one… over and over and over again. Its called bad luck – so – NO its not foolproof!

No theory works. The house always wins.
I don’t know what strategy you are talking about but I do know that ANY game that you play against the house. You will LOSE over the long run. There is a built in slight % that gives the house the edge. Some are better than others. Casino’s are built on So called strategies.
Poker is the only game where you can win on a regular bases. ( because you don’t play the house, you just kinda pay a rental fee for the table and the dealer in the form of rake.)
But games like roulette there are many theories like just double your bet until you hit. ( betting red/black) great theory ( martingale theory ) but there are a few problems.
#1 the ball has no idea what it landed on last and has no bearing where it shall land next.Therefore it could take 400 drops before you get you color.
#2 It is not a 50/50 chance because most people forget to count 0/00. ( The house advantage. )
#3 Table limits.
#4 even if you find a place with no table limit and you start with the smallest bet of 5 bucks. Watch how quickly that 5 ends up coting you a fortune if you don’t hit just 5 or 6 times.
5-10-20-40-80-160. Now if you do hit after 6 hits hey that’s great but you just risked 315 bucks to win 5 bucks. Great investment? But what happens if you lose 10 or 12 in a row you will be out 5-10-20-40-80-160-320-640-1280-2560-5120-10240.Now your at 475 all for 5 bucks. And you can think well 12 times without hitting say red thats impossible. Believe me it’s not.
