Question by nickgalant: For the past week I’ve been winning at roulette using my flip flop method. What do you wheel pros think of it?
It goes like this, I bet red three times in a row win or lose with a $ 10, $ 20 and a $ 40 bets in a row, then I flip and bet black and do the same betting sequence. For some reason I’ve been winning a bundle on an online practice roulette setup. You can see for yourself and try my system with no sign up or anything, just go to http://www.dashelc.com/cherry-red-casino-review.html and try for yourself and let me know before I go to Vegas and try for real.

as they say in Vegas .. we enjoy systems in a real situation you will lose
the wheel has no memory and black can come 7/8 times in a row just like red can
your better off just playing red or black and not switching

do you think you can make money playing roulette on line like this….?

Question by joeyjoejo: do you think you can make money playing roulette on line like this….?
do you think you can make money online playing roulette with just betting black? if you start at a dollar and if you lose just double your bet and ad a dollar. that way you will win before you hit the max bet because black has to come up. im just not sure if you can push the spin button or have to wait for it to spin its self. because if you have to wait then it would be a long time before you make any real money. do you think they would kick you off the site for doing that? or maybe you should rotate sites or even lose a little at another game so to not look like your ripping them off . i dont even know if it would work but i would like to try.
i have tried it and it does work only if you start at a dollar. if you start at any more you will hit your max bet. what might be even better if you could find a site that will let you bet less then a dollar just to be safe.

What do you think of my blackjack strategy?

Question by eric: What do you think of my blackjack strategy?
Most of my own strategy is following basic strategy, but I alter basic strategy for some plays.

I always double down on soft 13-17 against a dealer’s 2-6 and soft 18 against dealer’s 3-6. (Even though basic strategy doesn’t recommend doubling down on any soft hand against a dealer’s 2 and some soft hands against dealer’s 3). Do you think doubling on soft hands against a dealer’s 2 or 3 as aggressive? I seem to win usually doing that.

I always double down on 11 regardless what the dealer has (even though basic strategy doesn’t recommend against an Ace).

I always double down on 10 against a dealer’s 2-9 and even sometimes against an Ace if I feel there are a lot of 10/face cards coming.

I always double down on 9 against a dealer’s 2-6 and sometimes against a 7. (Basic strategy says not against a 2 and 7).

I sometimes double down on 8 against a dealer’s 5 or 6 because those are strong bust cards. (Basic strategy says to hit).

I always split 2s, 3s, and 7s against a dealer’s 2-7 and I split 6s against a dealer’s 2-6 (following basic strategy).

I don’t usually split 4s against a dealer 5 or 6 (not following basic strategy) even though I’ve done it a couple times before. My logic is why end up with two 14s assuming you get a 10 on both hands when you could just hit or double and make 18.

I always split 8s against a dealer’s 2-8 and Ace. I don’t normally split against a 9 or 10 thinking the dealer will have 19 or 20 and I’ll have two 18s. Why put more money on the table for a losing situation? So, I just hit it and hope for the best (sometimes I get a 4 or 5 and make the hand, sometimes I don’t).

I sometimes split 9s against a dealer’s 2-6, I sometimes don’t. I would split against a dealer’s 9 though. The logic is why screw up a hand of 18.

I of course never split 5s or 10s and always split Aces.

I always hit 12-16 against a dealer’s 7-10, face card, and Ace. I never hesitant hitting a 16 unlike other players.

I always stay on 12 or above against a dealer’s 2-6 (even though basic strategy says to hit 12 against a dealer 2 or 3).

If the dealer has a 9 or 10, I sometimes hit soft 18, I sometimes don’t because I end up making it worst or busting the hand out.

If the dealer has 8, 9, 10, or Ace, I always hit soft 17. I sometimes stay against a dealer’s 7 hoping for a push, but that’s one play I’m going to start hitting to go for the win.

So, what’s your opinion? How do you play? Do you follow strict by basic strategy or do you have your own strategy?

well adding more to double as soft hands your really not gaining a whole lot – because there is Less cards to improve your hand – so your basically doubling that the dealer busts – and this involves getting both unknown variables 1. the hole card and 2. next card making dealer bust

so your really giving up more of an edge than you are getting by doubling on ALOT of soft hands

as for staying on 12 and above – well it depends how you look at it –

12 you have a 61% chance to improve your hand and or NOT bust but only a 38% chance to get 17 or better if you have a 16 you have a 38% chance to make 17 or better and a 62% chance to bust

the only thing that changes between 12 and 16 is the middle ground between bust and 17+

so really depends how you look at it – no matter what if you DONT count cards……..you are giving up an edge to the dealer – as long as you are playing blind and DONT know whats coming next, over the long haul the house will win!

but its your money, whatever works for you, well more power and luck to you

Good Luck:)

I think I’ve found a great Casino Blackjack strategy! Is it true, or am I dreaming stupid here?

Question by dakota_driver_20: I think I’ve found a great Casino Blackjack strategy! Is it true, or am I dreaming stupid here?
So this past week, I played at a $ 25 table, and was up on the night about $ 800. Eventually I lost most of it back and finished the night with a reasonable $ 200 profit. Now, I understand that Blackjack IS GAMBLING, and trust me, I’ve lost just as much as I’ve won (probably lost more!) I consider myself a good player, and have been told so by strangers/dealers/etc. So only reply if you’re a serious player, not somebody who frowns on gambling/playing blackjack and would reply: stop playing blackjack and wasting money! Onto the strategy…

So I lost much of the money due to hitting a VERY cold table, everyone at the table lost 5-10 hands in a row, several times. At $ 25 a hand, not to mention doubles/splits, that’s rough. I was thinking…what if I played $ 25 Blackjack, but on a smaller limit table (say $ 5 or $ 10 table). This would still let me be aggressive on the winning streaks (since my betting sequence is “up as I win”, but not lose big on the losing streaks if I lowered down to the minimum bet…thoughts/suggestions??

Baccarat: What do you think of this way of making money on Baccarat?

Question by hero_gt350: Baccarat: What do you think of this way of making money on Baccarat?
I have not tried it, but this is my hypothesis. Let’s say I go to the casino ONE A DAY, and GET OUT of the casino once I make $ 100 based on this strategy: Here it is: I bet $ 100 on the player on my frist bet. If I win it, I take my $ 100 profit, and go home till I come back to casino tomorrow. If I lose it, I bet $ 200 on player AGAIN. If I win my second bet, I recover my previous lost $ 100 and take $ 100 profit, and go home again till I come back next day. If I lose it, I bet $ 400 this time on player AGAIN to recover the 300 and win $ 100. So if I lose the 400 again , my strategy will be betting on player 800, then 1600, then 3200, then 6400 and then 12800. Now the odds of getting a consecutive banker on the first 8 bets is almost 0.04 % = 4 out of ten thousand days = 1 day out of 2,500 days = Only once in seven years .
So I will win $ 36,500 a year = 255,500 dollars in 7 years, and lose 25,500 one in those seven years, or lets even say the odds are 4 times higher, and I lose about 100k. This way I have still made 155k in 7 years by spending about 30 mins in casino everyday.
Please tell me what is wrong with my hypothesis?
*Of course, I should be able to afford losing 25k if the bad case shows up right at the begining, but that is another issue.
MY BAD! the odds of 8 consec. bankers is 0.4% = 4 out of 1000, which is 4 times in 3 years—> almost once a year. SO I still win 36,500 dollars a year, and lost 25,500 once, which leaves me with 11k a year. Sorry about the miscalculations in the original post.
Dude, but I was in Wynn Las Vegas a week ago, and there were people betting 50k on each bet. How about that?

Q&A: What do you think are Winnable Games in a casino?

Question by Mrs. BonBon: What do you think are Winnable Games in a casino?
My basis is none exist with the exception of poker & sports and blackjack if your an expert card counter.

Ive heard false promises of people who claim that its possible to beat video poker – roulette and craps – and a few others if they get somewhere between brave and psycho

personally I think its a joke – not so much that you are wrong for thinking so but because it creates false hope to make people think they can beat these games – I have not heard of anyone who is a self employed professional gambler at roulette or video poker – I have heard of people who can do it at craps – BUT it does not mean that are you playing a favorable game – and the number of people who make their living only by craps is practically ZERO

If your HIGHLY bankrolled at any of these games I suppose its possible for people to use hit and run strategies to make a profit off these games but it does not change the facts that says over time you will LOSE

What do you all think am I way off base or what?

online roulette

Question by nickgalant: At last I finally found a way to make good money with online roulette. What do you think?
The system I came across is an affiliate roulette system where you have a site with a roulette product that you would either sell or give away free. Then on your site you would also have online gambling sites with advertising that your visitors can click on, and with each click you automatically get paid. Check it out here and see if I should try this. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=p5nWapxT6cw&feature=fvw
Hi CJLove, They haven’t asked me for any money, but I feel I can find some gambling products on Clickbank and see if I can affiliate with some online casinos and make affiliate money that way. What do you think?

it’s a scam, anything that tells you your going to make a lot of money only wants your money and you lose, and don’t make a thing.
