It goes like this, I bet red three times in a row win or lose with a $ 10, $ 20 and a $ 40 bets in a row, then I flip and bet black and do the same betting sequence. the wheel has no memory and black can come 7/8 times in a row just like red can
your better off just playing red or black and not switching

You don’t win at Blackjack no matter how many decks are in a shoe – not unless you are an expert card counter, and even then it’s very difficult to make lots of money. Blackjack was designed to give the house the advantage no matter how many decks there are. Card counters can bring the over-all edge to their favor, but only by the slightest margin.

There are tons of websites that you can play for fake money. Do some searches and you’ll find a bunch. I wouldn’t call it “practice”, though. You either know how to play perfect Basic Strategy, or you don’t. I suppose if you don’t know perfect Basic Strategy, then it would be good to practice this until you’ve memorized all the right times to Stand/Hit/Double/Split/Surrender.

If you don’t know what I mean by “Basic Strategy”, research it on-line. You’ll find many sites that give you the Basic Strategy guides. Especially check out the Wizard of Odds site. (Search for it.)

Just remember that even when you’re playing PERFECT Basic Strategy, the odds are still in the House’s favor. Bottom line – if you think you’re going to MAKE money playing blackjack, you are a fool who will soon be parted with his money. You WILL win sometimes, but in the long run, the casino will always have your money.

Yes, the house retains an edge when you play basic strategy. The edge, according to wizardofodds.com is .28% if you are playing with what he calls “Liberal Vegas Rules” which means: Dealer stands on soft 17, player may double on any two cards, player may double after splitting, resplit aces, late surrender.

The edge in blackjack (no matter what the rules are) comes from the fact that you have to act before the dealer. If the dealer acted first then he could bust no matter what your cards were (and how you might have acted otherwise). Because you have to go before the dealer, you can bust and lose even when the dealer would have also busted. Imagine playing with 1 other person besides the dealer: you bust, player 2 stays, dealer busts. You lose your money even though the dealer did the same thing as you (busted). Player 2 gets paid of course. So you can bust and lose, get a poor hand and lose, or beat the dealer and win. The dealer wins in 2 of those 3 scenarios (which do not happen with equal probability) so the dealer has an advantage over you.

Are you thinking of using the martingale system? If so you just need to go to a higher limit table when your bet size requires it. I’m not suggesting you should use this strategy. I have no idea if it is profitable or even allowed. I play at Doyle’s Casino and they have some reasonably high stakes tables. Question by Hello!!: I have won money with online roulette using The Martingale System, is there a time to stop?
Today i came across The Martingale System and was pretty skeptical but i bit the bullet and tried it at an online casino. So far today i have won about £160 in just a few hours so i’m pretty happy, but i have read a few stories about people losing lots of money, but so far i haven’t come accross any major flaw in the system. Also, there doesn’t seem to be any betting limit on the casino i have been using. Should i carry on? (i only make max £1 initial bet)

Because the martingale will lose your money. There is not winning system for roullete because it always has house advantage. And in martingale if you lose 5-6 times in a row you will have to put so much money that you don’t have them in the account and even that its not guaranteed on the 7th time you will win. Trust me I have seen this so many times.
The only way to win money is from poker and sports betting as this is skill and less luck.

Short term? Yes.

Long term? No, unless:

1) They are dealing all the way down the end of the shoe (very last card) and telling you when they shuffle
2) Allowing you to bet a range of 1-500 or better (i.e., /hand then 0/hand)
3) You are using a computer and inputting all of the cards dealt in each shoe. There can be a large advantage on the last few hands of a 6-deck shoe if the shoe is dealt all the way to the end. Most of the advantage would be gained by betting tie at the appropriate times.

I find it very unlikely that this is possible, given the way internet casinos work.

I’ve been using the martingale system in online roulette and it seems to work well. I was wondering if it is illegal to use on real games. I don’t see how it could be because im just playing the odds. I’m not using any type of electronic device and just my brain. Anyone with any prior experience.

as far as i know it is not illegal, but the casino will have a max limit to combat martingale system users. plus you need a huge bankroll for this system to work. good luck by the way this is for real live gambling.

I want to put in money recieve a % bonus and play basic strategy through out the playthrough amount them when I have reached that amount I withdraw my money. If the bonus is high enough and the play through is low enough it is profitable as you only lose approx 1-2% of your total bets. I just need the best casino to do this at.
