Question by nickgalant: For the past week I’ve been winning at roulette using my flip flop method. What do you wheel pros think of it?
It goes like this, I bet red three times in a row win or lose with a $ 10, $ 20 and a $ 40 bets in a row, then I flip and bet black and do the same betting sequence. For some reason I’ve been winning a bundle on an online practice roulette setup. as they say in Vegas .. we enjoy systems in a real situation you will lose
the wheel has no memory and black can come 7/8 times in a row just like red can
your better off just playing red or black and not switching

Question by Isaac: I want to play my winning roulette bet at real casino – would the casino staff stop me?
I engineered a bet that has won 99/100 times in trial with an online roulette simulator. I want to play it at a real casino, but I’m afraid it would draw too much attention and I would be stopped from playing after a week (maybe less) of winning. How long would they let me win? Or how much would they let me win before being stopped. There aren’t many casinos where I live, so I think I would draw attention soon enough?

Regarding playing at online casinos, I don’t believe that I can really trust any? How could I know they are fair?

Regarding me having a winning bet, and whether or not it’s possible, I did do the math to show why I say this bet is “winning”.
On each spin I have an 86.5% winning potential. During a session of play using the bet and accompanying betting method the overal win rate or potential is 99.6% with a 0.4% chance that I would lose my money set aside to play the bet. This is just the math.

I think because mathematicians say you can’t beat the houses advantage (which is true) that everyone assumes it’s a futile endeavor. But I think just because you can’t beat the odds, doesn’t necessarily mean you can’t beat the game. Just my thoughts… and my math but I could very rightly be wrong, if the math is wrong. Casinos make big money off of their math ; )

As long as you’re making legal bets without using equipment like a wheel tracker or taking advantage of a flaw in the roulette wheel itself, they cannot legally stop you from making the bets you want. The most they can do is close the roulette table.

However, there is no such thing as a “winning roulette system”. Since the game came out in Europe a couple of centuries ago, top mathematicians have tried to create a system that wins consistently, but it simply does not exist.

Albert Einstein was once quoted as saying “You cannot beat a roulette table unless you steal money from it”.

There are several systems that can help you win over the short run (EG the martingale system, laboucherre system, and the D’Alembert system), but these eventually reach limits built into the roulette game itself that will cause you to lose over the long run.

It is not possible to be sure of the odds of winning any luck based computer game because the odds can be easily modified by who ever controls the game, although this is illegal if playing for real currency. As for an automated system, that would be illegal if playing for real currency.

Question by Diane B: Casino Blackjack. Is there a statistical reason for winning at a 6 deck shoe and losing at an 8 deck shoe??
My husband is a black jack dealer in the 5th largest casino in the world. But he finds that when he is required to use 8 decks instead of 6, hardly anyone wins. Why is this? Why the difference? It’s driving him nuts not knowing.

There is no difference between the two, infact there’s not much difference between using any amount of decks. the chances of any one card coming out are the same regardless of the amount of decks. Take a look at the site below.

2 years ago, i was in the baccarat table & won 10 times in a row putting 100 dollars each time.After the win, i start getting angry with myself not increasing my bet each times. If i had put in all each time i might already retire now. Just want to know is this a common trend happening to all gambler ?

Here are a few things you need to know about playing the roulette in Vegas.

1) Roulette is a game of pure chance
2) There is no mathematical or statistical method to accurately predict where the ball is going to land.
3) The house always win with Roulette. No strategy can overcome the built-in house percentage.
4) Understand the house advantage with is 2.7% for a Single Zero wheel.
5) Get in, make your money, and get out.
6) Finally, In the end it is luck and not strategy that governs this game.

I did a roulette stimulator online and placed $ 1 each time, 20 times, on “1st 12″.
My results were that I won 8 times and lost 12 times.
What would be my theoretical probability of winning with a bet on 1st 12?

In addition to the numbers 1-36, some roulette wheels have 0 and some have 0 and 00

With a wheel with just 0, the chances of winning on 1st 12 would be 12 out of 37 or about 32.4%
With a “00″ wheel, the chances will be 12 out of 38 or about 31.6%
