I usually win with about 10-15 chips down on the board, placing them so you can get about 4 numbers with one chip. Yes, it pretty much covers the board, but you do end up winning or at least breaking even. Also add a couple chips on the “whole” numbers, your lucky numbers, just for added fun.

There is NO such thing as strategy when dealing with games of chance. The only sure thing is that you are either you are likely to come out on the short end of things.

There is no “best” strategy – if there were, then everyone would do the same thing. The only real winning strategy when playing Roulette is to play the odds. But that is also assuming you have an infinite amount with which to play. To win consistently, bet on a colour. To win big, bet on a number. To increase your odds, play European rather than American roulette, which slightly favours the player over the House.

If you must play roulette, do these three things:
    1) Play at a single-0 table, not a double-0 table; playing at a single-0 table halves the house advantage over the double-0 table.
    2) Stick to the even-money bets (reb/black, odd/even, high/low); the house advantage on these bets is the lowest at the table.
    3) Establish a stop/loss strategy — and stick to it!

Bet $5. if you win, start over with another $5. If you lose, double your bet. Keep going until you win, then start over again with a $5 bet.
