I am totally a beginner. I’ve been playing hold em’ online, but realize that there is a big difference between the online game and real game. I’m trying to work on reading people’s bets, and seeing what they could possibly have with the flop, turn, etc…
Anyways! I’m going to this small card only casino Friday with my BF and want to have a little fun, but dont want to completely throw away my money. Which would be the easiest game for a beginner to learn or should I possibly just stick with hold em? I feel a little intimidated being a girl sitting at a table with people who probably know the game really well.

No limit/Texas hold’em.
Just fold those almost playable hands in the beginning and watch the other players. And actually being a girl u have an advantage. It’s proven that males do not believe that girls are good bluffers and will only raise if u have a decent hand. So you could bluff for a lot of money. Just make sure who u string along doesn’t seem heavy handed from the beginning if they raise and then re raise at the turn don’t let that scare u either even if they go big. They might be trying to chip bully into not loosing they’re initial raise. Wow I could go on. I’m not even scratching the surface. But basically. Buy in fold a couple to see who/how your playing with and don’t let any raise scare you out of a pot. Goodluck!

A casino is like a bank sometimes you go to withdrawal money or sometimes you deposit it. You can always withdraw at a later date.

Definitely No Limit Hold em! Girls have it very easy in this game, as guys will almost always be willing to help out a lady with the rules so as not to have to stare at other guys all night.
The easiest card game is also the one with the highest win percentage, blackjack. Tyhe trick is to always assume the dealer has 10 face down(a king, queen, jack, or 10) and the dealer has to hit(take a card) on anything soft(below) 16. Now I’m assuming you know the object of blackjack is to get as close to 21 without going over, so if the dealer has anything 6 or lower don’t take a hit unless you are soft 11 as it is a high probabilty the dealer will bust. If the dealer has a 7 or higher showing and you are soft 17 it is best to take a hit. If you just play smart and go by these guide lines you will more than likely come out a winner. Because in blackjack the dealer has to follow rules set in stone and you are only playing against him, and in hold ‘em there is a lot more unpredictability because you are going against other players who are just looking to make thier money anyway possible. When you go thught, make sure you observe the table to see if anyone is playing like a jackass. Sorry if I assumed you knew less about the game than you did, I was just trying to cover as much as I could.
